Modern runner rugs are long, a carpet-like piece of carpet that does not take up the entire width where you install them. For example, if you put a blanket running in your hallway then the runner will not be as wide as the hallway, but it will be as long as or longer than in the hallway. Buy a length of rug that is at least as long as you want the runner to be. If you want your runner to be four feet tall, buy the 04:56 meter blanket. You can buy carpets on carpets, carpet shops, or online.
Figure out the desired width modern runner rugs. It may be as wide as you want it, as long as it’s at least one foot narrower than the space where you plan to use the runner. You want at least six inches of floor to be visible on both sides. Flip the rug on the head and then measure the width of the runner on the rug with a tape measure. Mark the desired width down the length of the rug with a black permanent marker and a ruler.
Cut along with a blanket cutter or very sharp box knife. If the field knife is not sharp, it will saddle the carpet, making the modern runner rugs look messy. Install tackles stripes on the floor where you want to put the runner. You need a hammer to put these strips in the floor. Another option is to use double sided, heavy tape on the runner and then when it is in place, press down to keep the tape to the floor.
